This contest is now over. Thank you for your submissions!

For the next two months, David Blaine will be rehearsing his new underwater magic act at Liberty Science Center. Check out the video below for a preview:

Use this box to submit an idea for what else David should do underwater – ideally for David’s sake, not something that requires too much oxygen. The best ideas will be incorporated into David’s act and one submitter will get a free trip to LSC from anywhere in the U.S. to watch him perform it.

Contest Notes:

-Winners receive one round-trip ticket from any major U.S. airport to New York City, two nights in a hotel near Liberty Science Center, free entrance to the Center with passes to all films and simulators, and a private session with David Blaine to watch him perform your effect.

- You may decide to cooperate and enter the contest as a class, school, or other group. Since we can’t fly all of you out to the Liberty Science Center, we’ll do a live webcast from LSC of David’s performance for the winning group.

- Minors (people under 18) may also enter the contest, but can’t travel alone to LSC to see David’s performance. If you win as a minor,  we’ll work with you to either set up a way for you to watch the performance via the web or (if you’re close) travel with a parent.

- By entering this contest, the submitter gives up all right to his or her idea and acknowledges that David is free to use the idea at anytime in the future, that other people may have submitted similar ideas, and that all decisions as to the winner are David’s.

- If the winner is over 18, we may use the winner’s name and likeness in marketing communications.

- Winner must pay any applicable taxes.

- Entries must be received by 5:00 pm Friday, April 20, 2012.
