Sawzall Magic

In the 1984 mockumentary “This is Spinal Tap,” the self-proclaimed world’s loudest band sets out to perform the song “Stonghenge” on a stage set that’s supposed to include 18-foot-tall monoliths. But because the band mistook the symbol ” for feet, and instructed their set designer to build 18″ pillars, they found themselves on stage nearly crushing 18-inch props. We didn’t screw up quite that badly when we planned to move David’s water tank into Liberty Science Center, but I confess that our measurements were off. We discovered at the last moment that his tank was one-inch too wide to fit through the door. So, with the awesome power vested in me as CEO, I ordered our engineers to cut a hole in the wall.
